Protection of Personal Data and compliance with International Standards

E-VISA.ORG is committed to respecting and protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable international laws. Our data processing is designed to guarantee transparency, security and respect for users' rights.

1. Regulations Complied With

We apply the following standards for processing your personal data:

  • RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation): Applicable to users in the European Union, guaranteeing enhanced rights over the collection and use of their personal data;
  • PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act): Canadian regulations guaranteeing a rigorous framework for the processing of personal information;
  • DPF (Data Privacy Framework): International standard governing cross-border data transfers, in particular between Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
  1. Types of Data Collected

We collect only the data necessary to process your request, in particular:

  • Personal data: Surname, first name, nationality, passport number, email address and telephone number;
  • Travel data: Information required to complete administrative forms relating to EVA or visa applications;
  • Financial data: Payment information processed securely by third-party service providers that comply with PCI DSS standards.

3. Purpose and Retention of Data

The personal data collected is used exclusively in the context of the services provided, in particular to:

  • Complete and submit your administrative requests;
  • Follow up requests and provide customer support.

Storage period:

  • Sensitive data (passport number, medical information) is deleted immediately after submission of the request within 72 hours;
  • Non-sensitive data (surname, first name, contact) is stored for a maximum of 3 months for customer service purposes.

4. Data Security

We employ strict measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption of sensitive data;
  • Secure storage on servers that comply with international standards;
  • Access restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Users' rights

You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold;
  • Rectification: You may correct any errors or inaccuracies in your data;
  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your personal data;
  • Portability: Your data may be transferred to another entity if necessary.

  1. International Data Transfers

As part of the provision of our services, your data may be transferred to and stored in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including the United Kingdom. These transfers are carried out in accordance with the standards established by the GDPR, the DPF and the PIPEDA.

  1. Remedies in the Event of Non-Compliance

If you believe that your personal data rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with:

  • The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (for users in Canada);
  • The competent authorities in your country of residence (for European users);
  • Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) via data@e-visa.org.
